Dashboard widgets

AppSentinels Data Dashboard provides data widgets to successfully manage API discovery and security throughout the distinct stages in API Security management—API discovery, Vulnerabilities resolution, Threat activity detection, and Security events logging.

Data on Dashboard

The widgets on the Dashboard exhibit the following behavior.

• In the Time Series widgets, the data displayed is for the last seven days or three weeks.
• In other widgets, the data displayed is for either a day or seven days.
• The data in the widgets are updated only when you refresh or reload the page. To see the latest data in the widgets, click the Refresh icon located at the top-left corner of the page. 

APIs and Sensitive Data Summary widgets

The APIs and Sensitive Data Summary widgets provide insights into the progress of API discovery. The widgets show a categorization of APIs by their characteristics, sensitive parameters in the discovered APIs, and the API inspection trend.

These widgets are also seen on the API Catalogue and Parameter Catalogue pages.

Vulnerabilities Summary widgets

The Vulnerabilities Summary widgets help monitor the vulnerability resolution efforts, see the severity of the vulnerabilities, see the most prevalent vulnerabilities, and APIs with the most vulnerabilities.

Threat Actors Summary widgets

Threat Actors Summary widgets help monitor threat activities. The widgets show the threat actor count by the level of severity they pose, the most active threat actors, the most used attack tactics, and the threat actors' geolocations.

Security Events Summary widgets

Security Events Summary widgets help monitor security events. The widgets show the trend of security events, the most used attack techniques, the most targeted APIs, and a classification of security events by severity, status, resolution, and age.
